James Corden was born on the 17th of August 1978 in Hazlemere, a suburb of High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. James studied drama at the Jackie Palmer Stage School before joining Holmer Green Senior School in High Wycombe.

James uses the name James Corden on TV and entertainment credits but was born James Kimberly Corden.

James has been an “in demand” actor since leaving school and has appeared on a number of stage and TV shows on both sides of the Atlantic. James Cordon’s first major role was as Jamie Rymer in Fat Friends but he has also appeared in shows such as Hollyoaks and Teachers.

The last couple of years have seen James become a household name and in 2007 along with good friend and co-star Mathew Horne he presented Big Brother’s Big Mouth on E4. Channel 4 executives were so impressed at James and Mathews presenting skills they immediately asked them back to be full time hosts of 2008 Big Brothers Big Mouth Celebrity Hijack.
James now lives in London and is in a relationship with BBC actress Sheridan Smith. James and Sheridan have been seeing each other for almost a year and are said to be very happy!

When not writing or acting James loves to watch his favourite team West Ham United playing and is often accompanies by fellow comedian Russell Brand who is also a West Ham fan.
